#EPION2019: Registration is now open!
Dear friends,
In celebration of Mental Health Awareness Week 2019, registration for our biannual EPION 2019 conference is now live!
This year’s conference theme, Partners in Practice and Progress, reflects the importance of the broader EPI community in our experiences as service providers, researchers, and individuals and family members with lived experience. As in previous years, we welcome the opportunity to connect with our membership as well as our peers in EPI excellence outside of Ontario.
The conference will offer a packed two days of learning and networking, and will include concurrent sessions, a poster session, lived experience videos as well as four plenary presentations. We are pleased to announce Amy Willans, Dr. Martin Lepage, Dr. Sean Kidd, and Dr. Chiachen Cheng as our invited plenary speakers. They will share their expertise on a range of important themes and topics such as peer support, psychosocial intervention, technology in EPI, and community partnerships. More information about the plenaries and the speakers is available online and in our updated conference flyer.
Registration for the EPION 2019 conference is now open, and we are pleased to offer an early bird rate to those who register before September 10. Please download the flyer or visit our events site for more information about registration.
Please note that the conference proper starts at 11AM on November 19, with registration opening at 10AM. We hope that this will make it possible for most people to travel in to Toronto that morning. At the end of the first day (from 4:15-5:30PM) EPION will host an informal reception to give everyone the chance to meet and mingle.Whether this is your first or tenth EPION conference, we look forward to having you join us!
