Thank you for helping make #EPION2019 a success!
On behalf of the EPION Network , thank you for being part of the EPION 2019 Conference: Partners in Practice & Progress.
We celebrate with you the rich opportunities for learning through the four plenary sessions, four symposia, twenty-one oral presentations, sixteen posters and three sets of video postcards.
The conference was also a great opportunity to meet and network with everyone involved in EPI vision and practice. It truly was a vibrant example of effective partnership among persons with lived experience, clinicians from all disciplines, peer supporters, researchers, evaluators, managers & directors and representatives from the Ontario Ministry of Health. It was wonderful to meet with so many from all over Ontario and also with a number of registrants from other provinces and the USA.
Special thanks go out to all who shared their work in formal presentations, those who moderated sessions, the many volunteer EPION members and PSSP staff who served on the conference planning committees and to everyone who assisted with registration and other on-site tasks.
It is important for us to recognize the invaluable and indispensable professional contributions to the success of the conference from Carole Lem: Conference Registrar, Angela Tocheri: Assistant Registrar, Nina Obrecht: Graphic and Web Design and Shiromie Muthunayagam, EPION Administrative Assistant.
Similarly, we are grateful for the active supportive involvement of the Provincial System Support Program (PSSP): Angela Yip: Knowledge Broker and, Rebecca Phillips Koenigs, Knowledge Exchange Manager. Their work was also crucial to the success of the conference.
Finally, many thanks to our hard-working EPION executive for their unwavering support, expressed in their continuous availability and flexibility when it came to making decisions and solving issues. Sarah Bromley & Shannel Butt: Conference Co-Chairs and Jen Bertoni: Interim Membership Chair.
We hope that you found the conference stimulating, encouraging and empowering.
We wish you well as you continue as partners in EPI practice and in support of progress in our field.
